There have been numerous complaints that this company does not properly install its equipment. Obviously, this leads to poor service, which leads to unhappy consumers. Other problems include billing issues, which seem to arise quite consistently. If you happen to notice a strange charge on your bill, address the problem immediately with customer service… which brings us to the last major issue.
Since this company, along with most others, tends to outsource customer service jobs to employees in other parts of the world, getting through to someone that can help may be challenging. However, if you take the time to speak slowly and understand the other person on the phone, you may find that this issue is really insignificant. Still, it is wise to know about all complaints prior to signing any type of contract or deal with a satellite company. The dish network problems mentioned above are the only ones that have surfaced thus far.
You may also want to note that those people complaining about this service make up a very small minority. Most people that subscribe to this service are entirely happy with it. If you want to try this type of satellite, see if you can test the waters (so to speak) for a few months prior to signing that contract. This way, you can opt out if you do not like the service that you are receiving.
